Black Kats pay tribute to former star McCullough

Dan’s the man: Fredericton High School Black Kats football team paid tribute to former player Dan McCullough on Saturday at FHS field by retiring his number 92 jersey and encasing it in a frame alongside the number 70 he wears for the Canadian Football League’s B.C. Lions. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Dave McCullough, Dan’s brother; FHS athletic director Steve O’Rourke; FHS principal Ann Krause; FHS head coach Larry Wisniewski; and Joanne Levison, Dan McCullough’s mom. The OHS Blues went on to beat the Black Kats 16-7.
