Moncton Junior Raiders are in the win column.

Raiders defeated the University of New Brunswick Red Bombers 36-26 Saturday at Rocky Stone Memorial Field for their first win in the Atlantic Football League.

Raiders have a 1-2 record with one game left to play in the regular season. They visit the first-place University of New Brunswick Saint John Sea-Wolves on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Shamrock Park.

Red Bombers have finished their regular season with a 1-3 record. Second and third-place teams will meet in a semifinal game Nov. 14 at the home of the second-place team.

The Sea-Wolves have earned a bye directly into the league final and they will host the championship game on Nov. 21.

The league, in its first year of operation, features players 24-years-old and younger. Officials expect to add teams from Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island next season.
