Present the 13th Annual

Pass , Punt, and Kick     Competition
September 30, 2011- at Scotiabank Park North

Capital Area Competition- Four competitors from each Bantam, Girls Tackle team and Girls Flag team. Two competitors from each Middle Level, Mosquito, Squirt, Mite and Oromocto Flag team. Each competitor competes in all three events. Trophies for the top three finishers in each age group. Prizes for all participants.
 
Each race participant must be wearing their team's game jersey.

6:30    Official Opening of Scotiabank Park North by Mayor Brad Woodside, MP Keith Ashfield, representatives of the N.B. government and Scotiabank. 
6:45     9 & Under (Squirt)
            7 & Under (Mite)

            Oromocto Flag
7:15   13 & Under (Middle Level)
          11 & Under (Mosquito)

7:45     15 & Under (Bantam)
               Girls Tackle, Girls Flag

New Brunswick Finals- October 8 - 10 A.M., Mount Allison University Athletic Centre, Sackville. Top two from each Capital Area age group  in 15U, 13U, 11U and Girls Tackle advance to N.B. Finals.

Rules and Regulations

Participants are to wear shorts, T-shirts or some other appropriate athletic wear. Football gear is not required. The contest is open for girls and boys up to and including 15 years of age as at December 31 of this year. There will be seven official age groups: (A) Ages 15 & Under, (B) Ages 13 & Under, (C) Ages 11 & Under, (D) Ages 9 & Under (D) Ages 7 & Under (E) Girls Tackle (F) Girls Flag. Each contestant may enter only one age group.

Measurement and Scoring  (Overall winner of 3 events)

(1) The score will be determined by the distance the ball travels forward in the air (not where it rolls), less the distance the ball lands to either side of a centre measure line. Each participant will be allowed three attempts in his or her event, depending on the number of competitors involved.

In case of ties, tie breaking rounds consisting of one best attempt counts will be held. Best single measurement of the tie-breaking attempts will be declared the winner.
(3)
A maximum of 10 yards will be allowed for a running approach. If a competitor steps over the starting line, that particular attempt will  not be counted.
(4) 
In all cases, the decision of the judges will be final.
(5) 
Ball sizes in competition will be: 15 & Under- Wilson TDS , 13 & Under- Wilson TDY, 11 & Under- Wilson TDJ, 9 & Under- Martin 401,  7 & Under- Martin 401, Girls Tackle-Wilson TDJ, Girls Flag- Martin 301
