Junior Girls Player Development Camp Open to all Girls ages 13-17 as at Dec. 31/12 Helmet, shoulder pads and mouth guard provided by CAMFA Cost $30 Registration is limited to 30 athletes. Sundays: Feb. 12,19,26; Mar. 4,11,18,25; Apr. 1 6:30 pm-8:00 pm @ Liverpool Elementary School gym, Fredericton April 15 @ UNB Dome Time TBA Junior Player Development is a program where each player will learn all positions. Players will practice foot work and football skills at each practice. Practices are progressive Limited contact with the emphasis on proper techniques. Qualified coaches Great way for current players to improve their skills! Great way for new players to learn the game! U16/U18 Provincial Skills Development and ID Camps Sat., Feb. 18: 6 pm-9 pm @ Dundee Sports Dome, Moncton-wear cleats Sat., Mar. 3: 10 am-2 pm @ UNBSJ Field House, Saint John-wear gym shoes Sun., Mar. 18: 12:30 pm-4:30 pm @ CFB Gagetown Field House, Oromocto-wear gym shoes Cost $50: Pay once and attend all three camps, a great opportunity! U16 age: 14 and 15 as at Dec. 31, 2012-born in 1997, 1998 U18 age: 16 and 17 as at Dec. 31, 2012-born in 1995,1996 These are excellent camps to develop and refine skills with the best coaches in NB. Camp will include skills, 1 on 1 drills, and some skelley concepts. Bring helmets, shoulder pads, shorts, gym shoes and cleats. Athletes will be taught and assessed on speed and agility drills Football N.B. will be forming U18 and U16 provincial teams. These camps will give players an early chance to impress the coaches. CAMFA will provide equipment to any U16 players who have registered for CAMFA spring U16. All U18 players need to access equipment from their high school program. CAMFA Spring Football Starts April 8 Nashwaaksis Field House, Fredericton North Check in and late registration 15U(U16), 11U(U12): Noon-1:00 P.M. 15U(U16),11U(U12) practices: 1:00-3:00 P.M. Check in and late registration 13U(U14): 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. 13U(U14) practice: 3:00-5:00 P.M. Shorts, T-shirts and gym shoes Registration More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
Capital Area Regional U18 Team Starts April 17 First Practice: 6:00-7:30 P.M.-Location TBA Cost for regional team: $150 U18 age: 16 and 17 as at Dec. 31, 2012-born in 1995,1996 Program runs until end of May Includes scrimmages and games against Moncton and Saint John teams Players will be selected from the regional programs to try out for the N.B. Provincial team. The provincial team will have tune up games against Nova Scotia and Beauce, Quebec before competing in the Football Canada Cup in London, Ontario from July 13-21.
